STUDIO CITY — Over 150 Armenian-American professionals gathered on Friday, July 31 at River Rock Lounge in the famous Sportsmen’s Lodge for ANCA Professional Network’s Summer Networking Mixer.

The mixer provided guests an opportunity to meet, mingle, and connect with business professionals, community leaders, and fellow ANCA-PN members. The professionals in attendance represented a broad range of industries from both the private and public sector. The capacity crowd enjoyed an evening of catching up with old friends and getting acquainted with new ones.

Formal remarks were kicked off by ANCA Professional Network Co-Chair Shant Sahakian who welcomed the 150+ guests, highlighted ANCA-PN’s upcoming events and programs, and encouraged the professionals in the audience to get involved.

“We were honored to host so many talented, motivated, and engaged professionals,” said ANCA-PN Co-Chair Shant Sahakian. “We thank all of the professionals who joined us and the community for continuing to support ANCA-PN’s efforts to connect people and empower the next generation of leaders.”

Glendale City Clerk and ANCA-WR endorsed California State Assembly candidate Ardashes “Ardy” Kassakhian served as the keynote speaker for the evening. Ardashes discussed the power of community activism and the importance of actively participating in political and community affairs.

“As a former Executive Director of the ANCA Western Region, I am happy to see the ANCA Professional Network thriving and providing much needed networking opportunities for Armenian-American professionals to connect and advance in their careers.” said Ardashes Kassakhian. “The professionals represented different industries, varying experience levels, and diverse interests but they are unified by the common thread of helping advance the Armenian Cause in the United States.”
